The Plain

So I finally made my way to The Plain after hearing about how awesome the place is. Especially when it’s coming from a friend, Sophie; who’s a firm believer that good coffee is essential + she has drank from the best coffee when in Australia. So her literal remarks about The Plain is “it’s as good as those served in Australia”…

I tell you the vegemite toast with eggs benedict is THE thing to order but warning first it’s not for the light taste buds. While I got the salami sandwich (I can’t quite remember the exact name, but it was the Salami something) which tasted equally good! I love their choice of bread which makes the food taste better.

Now for the COFFEE which both of us got the Skinny Latte! I have now know why people do rave about the coffee here – it’s the froth + good amount of coffee that makes the cup awesome! I have never knew how important an amount of froth can make or break it. You have to come and taste it for your own-self. NO regrets!

Ambience wise, it’s nice to have an open kitchen which allows you to have an idea of what goes on in your food. Yes, I’m the kind that feels more at ease when I know what goes into my food rather than ‘trade secret’ behind those walls. As many other reviewers has mentioned that you have to remember your order upon payment which I think it’s absolutely interesting – this place literally treats you like you are part of the family.

Salami Sandwich.

Happy people!

I had to get another cup of coffee to accompany me while I work. Now I really wished that my working place was somewhere nearby – You’ll probably know where to find me if I’m not at my desk. Haha!

Word Of The Morning

“Finally” was the word of the morning as said by a friend – indeed. But this time I’m saying it with a positive vibe that comes along with it and lesser of a complaining streak in me. Sometimes I really wonder, what kept me going? What and more importantly why?

I guess it’s finally…

Stand Alone

Don’t you feel at times that life seems to just leave you standing all alone? As though the whole world seems to function and whiz you by without even leaving a trace or even when days that you’re totally absence/detached from the world?

As much as I know my faith tells me that I’m NOT alone, I can’t help but forget this truth. But thankfully, I’ve been reminder of His grace and mercy once again – Deuteronomy 31:6 ”Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will never leave you or forsake you.”
