Across the line

Back from the down season of life – not that it’s any better now but I can safely say I’m definitely HAPPIER right now than the past 2 months!

So this Christmas was spent helping out for a church musical ‘ChristMRT Ride’ which was awesome! Seeing how much effort the cast has put in for 4 shows starting from  in total, time and time again rehearsing,

Had a warm (Yeap, it was raining all week long during the Christmas period) Christmas Eve at McCafe chilling out with people that matters close to the heart! It was nice silly conversations with FUNNY answers! And it was a true christmas when we circled around McDonalds while I was shouting greetings to random strangers and NONE replied other than ONE very nice sweet girl who greeted me back with a ‘Merry Christmas to you too’. That just officially made my 2011 AWESOME and a whole lot happier!!

Seasons of life

The best sentence I’ve heard this year has got to be “Euphe, have a little faith in yourself!”

This whole christmas period has been rather torturing for me as it doesn’t quite help that I’m being low on cash (Yes, I am officially broke and is in need of digging into reserves), plus also no mood for even merry making. Thankfully, I had the ChristMRT Musical in church to keep me sane enough for the time being! This year, I had the privilege of  being involved in a small teeny way with the video crew and it has taught me how is it like when people brings unto a project of different expertise and it ends up! I really like working with a community of people than being all alone embarking on a project.

Friends has also been very encouraging this period of crunch time – which I’m absolutely thankful for! So 2011 isn’t that bad either!!

Sometimes truthfulness is better

Couldn’t have been more timely than now to get reminder of how we should treat the Lord. Yeah, He is one whom you can get angry over, rough it out with Him, process through and JOURNEY IT WITH HIM!

God loves a lullaby
In a mother’s tears in the dead of night
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes

God loves the drunkard’s cry
The soldier’s plea not to let him die
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes

We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah

The woman holding on for life
The dying man giving up the fight
Are better than a Hallelujah sometimes

The tears of shame for what’s been done
The silence when the words won’t come
Are better than a Hallelujah sometimes

We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah

Better than a church bell ringing
Better than a choir singing out, singing out

We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah

We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful, the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah

(Better than a Hallelujah sometimes)
Better than a Hallelujah
(Better than a Hallelujah sometimes)
