Yashica Electro 35 GTN

So (not so) recently, I was contemplating between 2 cameras – an Olympus XA2 or a Yashica Electro 35 GTN. What got me thinking is because I used to own a Olympus XA2 but have suffered a bad death aka “Lionel” – the spool got stuck and couldn’t move anymore, yet I’m still in love with it, so how?

The hunt for a camera began, till a seller that I contacted advised me to get the Yashica instead of an Olympus which was limited in photography capabilities. Since the Olympus was a ‘point and shoot’ in comparison of the Yashica that it a ‘range finder’.

The only cons of the Yashica is that the lenses are fixed, BUT it’s definitely producing awesome shots, which is not so new anymore.

I’d have it up in the next post.

Swatch In That Watch

I know this is UBER late, but thanks to you two (not sure if you’ll like to be mentioned, just in case I spoil market, but if you’ll are fine, do let me know) for getting me this VERY awesome watch! I cannot express how thankful and grateful I am for this. I wear this every now and then. Especially on uber happy days! Once again, thank so much!

nexus one

The Nexus One is the first google phone and is the latest entry in the technology arena. It is a google phone built by HTC. It has been launched in the market on 5th January, 2010. Of course it’s not only a phone that syncs itself with all google applications, think Googlemail, GoogleCalendar, GoogleDocs, GoogleTalk and the endless other Google possibilities it could have. The Phone is sold at google.com/phone.

The phone runs on a Qualcomm 1 GHz Snapdragon chip, has a super high-resolution OLED touchscreen, is thinner than the iPhone, has no keyboard, and two mics. The mic on the back of the phone helps eliminate background noise, and it also has a “weirdly” large camera for a phone. And if you don’t like the touchscreen keyboard, a voice-to-text feature is supposed to let you dictate emails and notes by speaking directly into the phone.

Singapore is one of the few (lucky) countries who is able to get their hands on this latest gadget, read Straits Times for more details.
